Hello! My name is Colleen Hoyne, and I am honored to be working with the students and families of Eagleville Elementary Charter School. Eagleville is a school that has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, while providing students with a rich STEM and environmental education. Eagleville’s rich history and strong community of teachers are an integral part of the Mukwonago Area School District.
Over the last three years I have served as an Associate Principal at Mukwonago High School. Prior to that, I was an Instructional Coach and taught 6th and 7th grade in the Oconomowoc School District. However, my background and degree are in elementary education and I am excited to be returning to the elementary world. On a personal note, my husband and I have two sons, Noah (3) and Carter (1).In my free time, I love to read and run. I’m excited to share my passion for books with your children.
Eagleville has much to be proud of, including earning “Significantly Exceeds Expectations” on the state report card, not to mention our unique environmental focus and charter designation. Our curriculum focuses on best practices for multi-age classrooms, includes exciting and relevant STEM lessons, and allows students the advantage of hands-on environmental learning, all in a safe and small school atmosphere.
I am a firm believer that all students can be successful and that their strengths should be utilized to help them grow and learn. I look forward to working with each of your children to learn their strengths and interests, so we can help them grow as a student and person. I also believe that building relationships and a strong community are the foundation of learning and a partnership between families and school are critical. I look forward to building that partnership with each of you over the coming weeks, months, and years.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
