Per School Board Policy 167.3 (Public Comments at Board Meeting), citizens' comments are limited to residents living within the Mukwonago Area School District or parents of current students. If you choose to register to speak at a school board meeting, please be aware of the following:
- Topics for the Citizen Comment period are restricted to items listed on the board agenda.
- Due to public notice requirements, Board members are not able to discuss issues presented.
- Citizens are asked to limit comments to three (3) minutes. Based upon the number of speakers, the Board President may limit all speakers to two (2) minutes.
- Public comments on specific personnel matters are not an appropriate subject for presentation to the School Board and should be referred to the Superintendent's office. Any comments that may violate a right of an employee or student will not be permitted.
- In the event public comments exceed 30 minutes, the Board may continue with the regular agenda and resume public comments after all Board business has been conducted.
