Shoutpoint Messenger
A Rapid Communication System for Parents and Staff
Communication with parents is a top priority of the Mukwonago Area School District. That is why we have partnered with Infinite Campus and Shoutpoint Messenger which will allow us to send a variety of communication messages (including voice, email, and/or text) to guardians (and students) providing important information about school closings, emergencies or school events. This system may also be used for informational purposes such as individual school happenings, report card distribution, open house, field trips and lunch account balances. In the event of an emergency at school, you can have peace of mind knowing that you will be informed immediately.
Work numbers will not be called; however, our building staff will continue to call you at work if necessary, should there be an individual emergency with your child (injury, illness).
The successful delivery of information is dependent upon accurate contact information for each student. Please make certain that we have your most current home telephone number, cell phone number and email address. If this information changes during the year, please let us know immediately.
We are very excited to incorporate Shoutpoint Messenger as a tool to assist us in improving parent communication. We look forward to having the ability to deliver real-time information to you and provide awareness of all the great events that take place within our district.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to third party phone/data system protocols beyond the District's control, some Shoutpoint messages include a short period of silence or static before the automated message is played. If you receive a phone call from the district, please stay on the line for at least fifteen seconds in the event the system is experiencing a short delay. If you have any questions, please email helpdesk@masd.k12.wi.us.
