Hello Clarendon Avenue Families,
My name is Andrea Kaplan and I am honored to have the opportunity to lead an amazing school that is rich in tradition and has produced so many outstanding students.
My educational journey has taken me to three different states and has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and experiences. I was raised in Wichita, Kansas where I graduated from Newman University with my Bachelor’s in Secondary Education and Baker University with my Master’s in School Leadership. Prior to earning my Master’s degree I had the privilege of teaching 13 wonderful years at the elementary and high school level in North Carolina and Kansas. For the last few years I have been an Associate Principal at South Milwaukee Middle School and Wauwatosa East High School.
My husband, Bryan and I have two sons, Cade and Jacoby. Cade enjoys playing football, basketball and baseball. Jacoby loves participating in sports and swimming at the Mukwonago YMCA. My husband, Bryan, is a graduate of Mukwonago High School and Augustana University. He is a Social Studies teacher and Varsity football coach at Badger High School in Lake Geneva. My family and I reside in Mukwonago and treasure raising our boys in the same community my husband grew up in.
As a new school year starts, I have continued to reflect on Clarendon’s traditions and values but most importantly I know our teachers and staff are dedicated to the success of all students. I am confident we will work hard to preserve our legacy of success by building strong relationships, collaborating effectively and providing a rigorous yet relevant academic experience.
As the start of the new school year approaches, please look for communication about our upcoming events, but in the meantime, my door is always open and I welcome your input. If you have any questions or concerns give me a call at 262-363-6286 ext. 22500 or email me at kaplaan@masd.k12.wi.us.
Respectfully,
Andrea Kaplan
