Hello and Welcome!
My name is Jake Krueger and I teach Math and Computer Science at Mukwonago High School. I am originally from West Allis, though I now live in Waukesha. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a dual degree in Math and Computer Science Education and a Spanish Minor. In my free time, I enjoy watching Netflix, coding projects for friends and family, and traveling!
I believe that all students have the capacity to achieve great things. To do this, I believe in not only teaching the content ("hard skills"), but the behaviors and habits ("soft skills") that make for a great learner too. Students in my classes are expected to be self-advocates and active partners in their educational journey, not just passive participants.
You can find my schedule for the current semester below. All of my notes, classwork, and announcements can be found on the Google Classroom for a given class. If you have any issues accessing Google Classroom or general questions, please feel free to send me an email at kruegja@masd.k12.wi.us. I am also a faculty member for the IT Academy at MHS, which you can find more information about by clicking here. At MHS, you can most likely find me in my classroom, Room 133.
