LoggerPro is a data-collection and analysis software available for Mac and PC users. It is a very useful tool made by the company Vernier that can be used inside or outside the classroom. It will be used in class for some labs and activities to help students get a hands-on experience with the content. Additionally, students will be able to make graphs and copy the graph into a Google Doc or Microsoft Word file when writing lab reports.
Mukwonago High School has the site license, so they have the rights to allow students to download a copy for their home computer. Below are the directions to download your free version of LoggerPro, so that you are able to work on your graphs wherever you are:
- Go to the family login page on the district website, //www.masd.k12.wi.us/services/masd-login-famstu.cfm
- Click on Novell Filr and enter your user ID and password.
- At the top of the window, click on Net Folders
- Select the folders: Shared, MHS, and Students
- Open the folder LoggerPro_3.10.1_Windows_Home
- Double click on Logger_Pro_3.msi and install the program
