Online Registration Dates and Details
Registration for the 2026-27 school year will open on February 2, 2026.
All families must submit a new application.
New for 2026-27, MASD will offer full day 4K sections in five of our elementary schools: Big Bend Elementary, Clarendon Avenue Elementary, Prairie View Elementary, Rolling Hills Elementary, and Section Elementary. As space allows, additional full day sections may be offered in some of our schools.
Please read our process carefully as registration procedures will be different for the 2026-27 school year.
Full Day 4K Registration:
Starting February 2, 2026, you may register your child for 4K if they turn four years old on or before September 1, 2026. As applications are completed, resident students will be placed in their home schools as determined by their primary address. If a school becomes full, students will be assigned to another school’s 4K full day program. Intradistrict transfers may be requested, but placement will take place at a later date.
Half Day 4K Registration:
Details and availability of half day 4K have yet to be finalized. Please check back later in January for updates.

Documents Needed for Registration
Student registration will NOT be processed until ALL required documents are received. This includes a certified birth certificate and provide proof of residency, which can be uploaded digitially during registration. Alternatively, parents can bring these documents to the district office after submitting the online registration to verify birth date and residency.

Live Outside of Mukwonago?
Students who are applying for open enrollment into Mukwonago will not be processed until their open enrollment application has been approved. Beginning February 2, 2026, apply for open enrollment to MASD in the DPI Open Enrollment portal. Applications must be entered by 4:00 pm on April 30, 2026. Notification of placement for accepted open enrollment applications will be after notification of resident families.

Parents who are unable to complete the online registration, or who are unable to upload the required documents, must visit the school district office at 385 East Veterans Way to provide these important documents. The district office is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
