Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members:
On behalf of the Mukwonago High School faculty and staff, allow me to welcome you to our website. You will find needed information about academics, athletics, clubs, activities, and important school news. If you are a visitor to our community, thank you for taking the time to see what our district and school has to offer.
At MHS, we support the district mission of “Students, Staff, and Community: Building Better Schools Together” by committing to the success of each and every student. As our overall goal is to help all students become college- and/or career-ready by the time they graduate, our rigorous curriculum includes 17 Advanced Placement classes and 22 options which can earn dual credit through the Waukesha County Technical College. Regardless of the path a student chooses, they will receive our best effort to support their future goals.
Besides our strong academic programs, MHS offers more than 35 co-curricular organizations, including 15 varsity sports, outstanding music and fine arts programs, and numerous honor and service clubs.
MHS is also a recognized leader in the state of Wisconsin with implementation of PBIS initiatives and programming related to our schools’ four pillars of student behavior, known as "The Mukwonago Way":
BE ENGAGED
BE RESPECTFUL
BE RESPONSIBLE
BE SAFE
By emphasizing these important life-long skills, MHS staff and students strive to create a culture where every student feels safe and supported.
With pride, Mukwonago High School continues to serve the Mukwonago and surrounding communities and prepare students for post-secondary education and the workforce. We invite you to explore this site and to visit our campus to learn how you can be a part of our “Community of Learners” at Mukwonago High School.
Sincerely,
James Darin
Principal
