My name is Deb Sepic, and I am thrilled to be returning to the Mukwonago High School English Department! As a member of the Mukwonago community and a parent with a child here, I love the district. My teaching experience draws from Milwaukee Public Schools: Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Elmbrook: Brookfield East, and School District of New Berlin: New Berlin West Middle and High School. It has been a pleasure working with students, staff, and families in each of these locations. This year, I will be teaching Sophomore English and Junior English. Along with Sarah Bristol, I advise Key Club - a service oriented club aligned with the local Kiwanis.
Some details to offer a glimmer into my life are that I have two children: my daughter graduated from the district and from University of Minnesota; my son recently graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College where he played soccer and earned a degree in both English and Finance. My husband works as an engineer for Harley Davidson. In my limited spare time, I often read, bake, write, exercise, watch television, and laugh as much as possible! I am also lucky that many of my siblings live in the area, so we often spend time together.
I look forward to new opportunities and relationships this year at Mukwonago High School! Please feel free to stop by room 205 or drop me an email at sepicde@masd.k12.wi.us.
Our online classroom is in Google Classroom. Students each have immediate access to their coursework there. They also have access to out CLASS APP with many supportive resources that can help them through the year.
We also help students create accounts in Goodreads to support their independent reading.
