Dear Eagleville Families,
It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Valerie Vos, as the new Principal of Eagleville Elementary Charter School. I am honored to have been selected to lead the students, staff, and families of Eagleville. Over the past ten years, I have worked as a teacher, reading specialist, and literacy coach, but I consider my most important job to be an advocate for every child I encounter. I am looking forward to spending a lot of time with your children, getting to know their personalities, learning styles, and interests. I will encourage them every day and let them know they are valued and have a special place at Eagleville.
Not only am I excited to work with your children, but I look forward to the work we will do together. Over the past few weeks, I have had the privilege of getting to know some of the amazing students, parents and staff at Eagleville, while also learning about the rich school history and success. One of the greatest takeaways from these conversations has been the immense enthusiasm and pride for the school and community. It is through that same enthusiasm and pride that I look forward to becoming an integral part of the community with my own family and working with each of you to continue the great success of Eagleville. I am excited to see your children through your eyes. I cannot wait to share with you the great things they do throughout their days here at Eagleville.
My goal is to ensure that all children are healthy, happy, and safe, so they may learn as much as they can. This has been my philosophy since I began my teaching career in West Bend, WI as a kindergarten teacher. I then moved to Raymond Elementary where I taught kindergarten, first grade, and served as the Response to Intervention Coordinator before joining the Mukwonago School District in 2015. In Mukwonago I will continue to serve as the Literacy Coach at Prairie View Elementary as well as carry out my responsibilities at Principal of Eagleville.
Once again, I am humbled by the opportunity to bring my educational knowledge and experiences to the Eagleville community. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and your children. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, and ideas that you would like to discuss.
I look forward to meeting you soon. Have a great rest of the summer!
Kind Regards,
Valerie Vos
Eagleville Principal
