CES awarded School of Merit in Reading

The Wisconsin RtI Center as a School of Merit in Reading for their work accomplished through the implementation of a culturally responsive multi-level system of support.

CES 2nd Place @ State Speech Contest

Congratulations to Aoife who placed 2nd in the State School Speech contest! Way to go!

3-D Printer & Laser Engraver

A 3-D Printer and a Laser Engraver totaling $17,900+ was donated from the North Prairie Lions Club. Bob Werner, owner of First Technologies, added to the package by donating a second 3-D printer. Thank you!

Auto Repair Competition

This year’s team, made up of J.D. Murphy and Dawson Greenwald of Mukwonago High School walked away with the championship! Congratulations!

Certified Nursing Assistants

LindenGrove - Mukwonago, WCTC, & MHS have formed an alliance to help solve the problem of too few Certified Nursing Assistants.

CES Staff Awards Winners

Congratulations to our Staff Service Award winners, Nancy, Kevin, Debbie, Sara, and our volunteers Mike and Donna! They each did an excellent job representing our school and what we're about! BBES Scholastics' Book Fair Contest

Big Bend Elementary earns 2nd Place in Scholastic's National Book Fair Contest! BBES is proud to be one of 4 schools earning a second place in the Scholastic Book Fair’s Fall 2015 National Elementary Contest! Congratulations to Julie Kastello and the book fair committee who made it all possible. Our school earned 1000 Scholastic Dollars that will be used to create STEAM based MakerSpaces. Eagleville awarded 3 MASD Education Foundation Grants

Congratulations to the Eagleville Elementary Science Clubs for being awared two grants to help purchase and launch a weather balloon. Also, congratulations to the staff of Eagleville for being awarded a third grant to help defray the construction cost of a classroom sized greenhouse on site. Thank you so much to the Education Foundation for their support of such great educational opporutunities for our students.

Eagleville Butterfly Garden

With the help some very dedicated parent volunteers as well as generous donations, Eagleville students were able to plant their first phase of the butterfly garden. The garden is being used to release monarch butterflies that the science clubs are raising in the classrooms and then tagging for tracking purposes. The classrooms each have four or five monarh butterfly caterpillars. The students feed the caterpillars milk weed leaves until they form chrysalises. When the butterflies emerge, they are tagged and released.

Solar Lanterns and Water Filtration Systems

In cooperation with the Eagleville PTO Spanish Team, the Eagleville learning community continues to collect monetary donations to purchase solar lanterns and water filtration systems for their sister school in Guatamala. CES Spelling Bee

Great job to all of our Spelling Bee participants! Way to go showing your Cougar Character! Congratulations goes out to Nathan, Jacob, and Cooper will represent Clarendon at the District Spelling Bee on Friday, December 4th and Alex will be an alternate!

CES Scholastic Book Fair

We met our goal of $13,000.00 in sales at the Scholastic Book Fair. Thank you to all who shopped over the lunch hours and in the evening during Grandparent Lunch Week. It was wonderful to see that in this age of electronic entertainment, children and their parents still love to read.

RHES PTO Cash for Our Kids Fundraiser Goal Met

PTO raised over $7,000 for Cash for Our Kids! Mrs. Blochowiak had to dye her hair a wacky color.

BBES Guinness World Records Contest

Congratulations to our 2 semi-finalists in the Guinness World Records in Exactly 60 Words contest. We are so very proud of Alex and Grace!!

BBES DPI School Report Card

BBES finished in the top 15% of all schools in Wisconsin according to the DPI.

3 & 4 Year-Old Screening

Screening for 3 and 4 year olds will take place on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 and Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Rolling Hills Elementary School. Developmental areas to be screened include pre-readiness skills (short-term memory, the ability to attend and follow directions, knowledge of basic colors, etc.), speech and language, fine motor/gross motor skills, and vision/hearing. This screening is for Mukwonago Area School District residents only.There is no cost for the screening, but registration for screening is necessary. To register, call 363-6300, Ext. 24203, between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. The screening process will take approximately forty-five minutes. The screening process is not a mandatory experience for children, but rather an opportunity for parents to have their child’s general development assessed. Speech therapists will be available to screen for speech concerns and can answer questions prior to the start of 4K. Screening is part of the MASD's Child Find process to identify students with developmental delays. The MASD Child Find notice may be found on the Pupil Services website at www.masd.k12.wi.us.
