AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Art – This program is for those children who would like to learn additional techniques beyond what they have learned in art class each week. It is run after school one day a week for 6 weeks – in fall for 6th graders and spring for 5th graders.

Basketball – 5th and 6th grade boys and girls meet on separate afternoons forming four school basketball teams. This is a no-cut program that allows children a chance to learn basketball skills and sportsmanship and to have some fun on the court once a week from December – March.

Club Invention - Club Invention is an exciting afterschool program where your students will learn through hands-on fun. Children in grades 3 & 4 are imersed in adventures that encourage creative problem-solving and enhance the understanding of STEM concepts.

Code Ninja - An after school program that helps kids turn creativity into writing code. Available in two levels of difficulty, from beginner to advanced. Details sent home in Friday folders in the Fall and Spring.

“Kids Only” Newspaper – This program is for fourth, fifth, or sixth graders who are interested in journalism. The “Kid's Only” Newspaper is published few times a year with the help of parent volunteers.

Lego League – A competitive challenge for 4th, 5th and 6th graders designed to explore science and technology through the use of Legos. This program typically meets in the evening.

Ski Club – This is an evening activity that meets 1 time each week for 6 weeks after the 1st of the year. Ski Club members group together in order to get discounted rates at Alpine Valley. Parents are responsible for both transportation and supervision of their children.

Track – Track Club introduces 5th and/or 6th grade students to the various games involved in the sport of track and field. It meets in the spring, 1 afternoon per week, for 6 weeks.
