Citation Links

Noodle Tools
Students at Park View are able to create an account using Noodle Tools.  Citations can be created as projects and students can continually go back to add more ciations to their projects.  There are also some excellent note-taking options while using this this citation generator.

IMSA Citation Wizard
Works much the same as Slate but make sure to select the MLA format. Several formats from which to choose. Does the best job of these three choices.

Slate Citation Machine
Type in your information and the citation machine will create the citation for you. Copy and paste the citation into your Word document and then reformat your margins. You may also have to change the font to match your document. Lake Park uses the MLA format. This leaves out some things, such as the word online, in several citations so you will need to check and correct the citations.

C.W. Post Campus--An MLA Style Citation Website that lays out examples using colors to indicate how to create citations correctly.  Very well done with excellent examples from the most recent MLA style handbook.

Purdue OWL (Online Writing Lab MLA citation)
Houses writing resources and instructional material.

Cite Source at Trinity College
Offers parenthetical examples as well as general bibliography
