Academic Support

Counselors assist all students in achieving their full potential. Our goal is to support students in becoming independent learners and to teach students to set and achieve academic goals. Counselors advocate for individual student needs as we understand that children have unique learning styles. Counselors act as a liaison for students, parents and teachers.

Academic Support can also be provided through:

  • Organizational, study, and test-taking skills
  • Education in understanding strengths as a learner
  • Goal Setting/Decision Making
  • Transition Planning
  • STAR & State Assessment Prep
