The Role of the School Counselor:
School Counselors are vital members of the education team at Park View Middle School. They work with all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development, ensuring that today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow. Counselors see students for individual appointments, during classroom guidance, and in small groups as needed.Parents or teachers are able to request that the school counselor speak with a student.

How to contact your School Counselor:

Parents are welcome to e-mail, speak by phone, or make an appointment if they would like to discuss an issue with their child’s counselor.

Calls and appointments are coordinated by Mrs. Tomasik in the Guidance Office:

Homework Requests for Students who are absent 2 or more days:

  • Students need to be out two or more days to request homework.
     
  • Homework requests can be made by emailing tomasca@masd.k12.wi.us, or by calling the Guidance office at 363-6292 ext. 27411.
     
  • Requests or calls need to be received prior to 10:00 a.m., this allows teachers ample time to complete the request.
     
  • Folders with assignments and worksheets will have the students’ names on them and may be picked up outside the main office between the hours of 2:30 -7:00 p.m.
     
  • The North entrance of the building remains open until 7:00 p.m., all hallways are open so that you can access student lockers for books.

Duplicate Mailing Requests
 

Requests for a duplicate mailing of report cards, tests scores, etc. can be made by calling the main office at (262) 363-6292.

Progress Reports

Progress reports for parents who opt out of online grading reports are coordinated through the counseling department at the mid-point of each grading period.  Only D's and F's are mailed home for these students.
