I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2008.  I began my teaching career in the Mukwonago School District as a Title 1 Reading Specialist at Clarendon Elementary. I then taught 4th grade for two years at Eagleville Elementary Charter School.I began teaching at Big Bend in 2012.

While away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I was married January 2013 and we welcomed our son, Charlie, in January 2014. We enjoy boating, bike rides and spending time outside.  We also really enjoy traveling and seeing the world.  I enjoy bringing experiences of culture back to Big Bend.

I was inspired to teach by my mother, a 7th grade teacher, as well as my Grandmother, a retired 4th grade teacher.  They both loved working with students and showed me how exciting it is to watch a student be successful.
