A little about me:
I grew up in Madison, WI, which is where I lived until going off to college. I attended the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire.
At Eau Claire I triple majored in education and upon graduation I was able to obtain three licenses: Learning Disabilities, Cognitive Disabilities, and General Education. While at Eau Claire, I worked in the public sector doing vocational education and worked as a job coach for students with disabilities.
During my last twenty years of teaching, I have worked with students’ age six through twenty-one, in a middle school, a special education school, and a high school and most recently in an elementary school setting before coming to Mukwonago fourteen years ago.
Since my graduation from Eau Claire I have continued my education at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Through UW-Oshkosh, I have obtained additional licensure with a focus on Emotional Behavioral Disabilities as well as a Cross-Categorical license and have completed a Master’s of Special Education program and earned my Master’s degree from UW-Oshkosh.I am continuing to work towards obtaining my Autism Certificate.
My husband, my young daughter and I live in the area and enjoy camping, boating, playing outside, and spending time together as a family.
I am excited to find myself here in Mukwonago where I look forward to getting to know your child and your family. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns you may have. Working as a team is important in any profession, but especially in education.
