Our sister school, Pueblo Modelo, in Guatemala.
Spanish is taught at Eagleville as a part of the school's charter enhancement. It is taught via weekly Spanish classes by volunteers and through print and video.
Ask your child to share what they've learned in Spanish class. Encourage them to "play" with the language. Look for Spanish words in environmental print (signs, food labels, etc.)
We also have a sister school in Guatemala, Pueblo Modelo. The students at our school write letters in English to the students at Pueblo Modelo, and the those students write back to the Eagleville students in Spanish. Eagleville families also help to gather material and raise money for clean water filtration systems at the school.
