3 & 4 Year-Old Screening

Screening for 3 and 4 year olds will take place on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 and Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Rolling Hills Elementary School. Developmental areas to be screened include pre-readiness skills (short-term memory, the ability to attend and follow directions, knowledge of basic colors, etc.), speech and language, fine motor/gross motor skills, and vision/hearing. This screening is for Mukwonago Area School District residents only. There is no cost for the screening, but registration for screening is necessary. To register, call 363-6300, Ext. 24203, between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. The screening process will take approximately forty-five minutes. The screening process is not a mandatory experience for children, but rather an opportunity for parents to have their child’s general development assessed. Speech therapists will be available to screen for speech concerns and can answer questions prior to the start of 4K. Screening is part of the MASD's Child Find process to identify students with developmental delays. The MASD Child Find notice may be found on the Pupil Services website at www.masd.k12.wi.us.

  • Department of Veterans Affairs

Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295 Dear Students, On behalf of the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center patients and staff, we would like to extend our appreciation to you for your donation of Thank You letters for Veterans. It touches our Veterans hearts to know that they are thought of and remembered for the sacrifices they have made. Without your support, we could not provide for the smaller niceties that make hospitalization more bearable. The commitment you have shown to our patients demonstrates your concern for America's heroes, as well as the service our Veterans have given to our Country. Thank you for your continued support. Sincerely, Carrie Waschitz Chief, Voluntary Service

    Eagleville Butterfly Garden

With the help some very dedicated parent volunteers as well as generous donations, Eagleville students were able to plant their first phase of the butterfly garden. The garden is being used to release monarch butterflies that the science clubs are raising in the classrooms and then tagging for tracking purposes. The classrooms each have four or five monarh butterfly caterpillars. The students feed the caterpillars milk weed leaves until they form chrysalises. When the butterflies emerge, they are tagged and released.
