Welcome to the Parent Teacher Group!
Please mark your calendars and make time to attend PTG meetings this year. They are held every month of the school year on Tuesdays. A great way to learn more about Clarendon is to connect with other parents.
There are plenty of ways to become involved with the PTG. For starters, you can join us at our monthly meetings. Meetings are held in the Library at 7:00 pm. If you can't be at a meeting, you can stay up-to-date on the PTG news by reading our monthly meeting minutes. See the link on the left.
Being involved in the PTG doesn’t take a lot of time and every little bit that you can do as a parent helps your child and the school. Our goal is for each family at the school to pledge to volunteer at least once during the school year! As always, feel free to contact any officer and we’ll be happy to answer your questions and help you find a way to become involved. Click on PTG Officers & Coordinators link for names and contact information.
If you’re still wondering WHY you should be involved with the PTG, consider the research. Students whose adult family members are involved in school achieve more, have less behavior issues, are more resilient, and better adjusted.
We look forward to seeing you at 7:00 pm in the Library!
